Why we built realswipe
We were in Bali, sitting at the beach with nowhere to be and no one to surf with. Surrounded by travellers and somehow totally alone, the moment just slipped by. We looked at each other and knew we had to build something.
That feeling kept showing up everywhere: finishing work and wanting to grab dinner with someone new, a five-hour layover with no one to kill time with, finding a surf buddy at Bondi, grabbing a beer with a backpacker, having coffee with someone from a different office. Same feeling, different city, every time.
We built realswipe because the best stories usually start with someone you haven't met yet :)
