Community Guidelines

At RealSwipe ("RealSwipe", "we", "us", or "our"), we are committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment where individuals can connect meaningfully. These Community Guidelines ("Guidelines") establish the standards of conduct expected from all users of our platform, including the mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By using RealSwipe, you agree to comply with these Guidelines in addition to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Non-compliance may result in actions ranging from content removal and account suspension to permanent termination, at our sole discretion.

1. Eligibility and Authenticity

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to access or use the Service.
  • Each user may maintain only one account.
  • Users must represent themselves truthfully, including providing accurate biographical information and using current, unaltered photos of themselves.
  • Misrepresentation, impersonation, and fraudulent profiles are strictly prohibited.

2. Respectful Interactions

  • RealSwipe is intended to foster authentic and respectful & consensual connections. We expect all users to:
  • Follow Event Organiser Rules about community behaviour. When attending RealSwipe-partnered events, you are also subject to the organiser's community expectations and venue-specific codes of conduct.
  • Engage with others in a courteous and respectful manner.
  • Refrain from using language or behavior that is threatening, harassing, abusive, or defamatory.
  • Respect personal boundaries and discontinue interaction upon request.
  • Avoid spamming, trolling, or other disruptive conduct.
  • We have a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of discrimination, hate speech, or harassment based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or appearance.

3. Consent and Sexual Content

  • The decision of users is purely their own. RealSwipe has no role in it. However, users must not upload, post, or transmit any sexually explicit, pornographic, or suggestive content.
  • Solicitation of sexual services, fetish content, or commercial adult content is strictly prohibited.
  • All interactions on RealSwipe must be consensual. Coercion, manipulation, or pressure to share personal or explicit content will not be tolerated.

4. Profile and Content Standards

  • To promote safety and authenticity, profile content must adhere to the following standards:
  • Photos must clearly show your face and must not contain nudity, sexual acts, or graphic content.
  • Depictions of violence, weapons, drugs, or illegal activity are strictly forbidden.
  • Profanity, offensive gestures, and discriminatory language are not permitted.
  • Profiles may not be used to advertise goods, services, or commercial activities.
  • No photos or content that promote racial or religious discrimination or incite division.
  • Users are also expected to follow local laws and regulations (Rule of the land).
  • Any content found to be misleading, fraudulent, or in breach of these standards may be removed.

5. User Safety and Offline Interactions

  • RealSwipe must not be used to facilitate unsafe, unlawful, or harmful activities.
  • Users are strongly advised not to share sensitive personal information (e.g., residential address, financial data) with others.
  • If meeting another user in person, always do so in public places and inform a trusted individual of your plans.
  • Misconduct occurring offline but originating from RealSwipe interactions may result in enforcement actions, including referral to legal authorities.

6. Hate Speech, Violence, and Extremism

  • We do not permit:
  • Content that promotes or glorifies hate groups, terrorism, or violence.
  • Use of symbols, slogans, or materials associated with hate-based ideologies.
  • Denial of historical atrocities or promotion of conspiracy theories rooted in hate.

7. Illegal Activity and Reporting

  • Users may not use RealSwipe to engage in or promote any unlawful conduct, including but not limited to fraud, trafficking, exploitation, or drug use.
  • Content encouraging illegal acts will be removed and may be reported to relevant law enforcement authorities.
  • We encourage users to report violations or suspicious behavior using the in-app reporting tools or by contacting us directly at hey@realswipe.com.au.

8. Impersonation and Identity Misuse

  • Users must not impersonate any person, public figure, or entity.
  • Use of celebrity images, stock photography, or misleading content to misrepresent identity is expressly forbidden and may result in legal action.

9. Spam, Commercial Activity, and Automation

  • The use of RealSwipe for unsolicited promotion, advertising, or affiliate marketing is prohibited.
  • Posting external links or content for commercial gain is not allowed.
  • Automation tools, bots, or scripts intended to mimic user interaction or mass-message other users are strictly banned.

10. Enforcement and Disciplinary Action

  • RealSwipe reserves the right to:
  • Moderate, edit, or remove content that violates these Guidelines.
  • Temporarily suspend or permanently ban accounts engaged in severe or repeated misconduct.
  • Cooperate with legal authorities where necessary.
  • All enforcement actions are at our sole discretion and may be implemented without prior notice.

11. Appeals and Inquiries

  • If you believe your content or account has been moderated in error, you may submit an appeal to hey@realswipe.com.au.
  • While we review all appeals, we reserve the right to make final determinations on all enforcement actions.

12. Updates to These Guidelines

  • These Community Guidelines may be revised from time to time.
  • When changes are made, the updated version will be posted on our platform.
  • Continued use of the Service following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Guidelines.
